Haaris Ahmad - NJ Loss Prevention Detective with NYPD Experience

Promoting integrity and honesty up and down the organization, Haaris Ahmad serves as a loss prevention detective with TJX Companies. Based in Mahwah, NJ, he’s responsible for facilitating shrink-related activities in tandem with store management. Haaris Ahmad’s duties extend to investigations and surveillance at stores across Southeast NJ, and he undertakes apprehensions that fall within corporate guidelines and policies. As required, he takes part in legal proceedings.

A former New York City Police Department officer, Mr. Ahmad focused on protecting public safety while patrolling higher crime areas of Brooklyn. He successfully pursued and apprehended criminals and excelled in resolving potentially dangerous situations, such as violence-related disturbances where escalation was likely. He also protected city infrastructure and residents in cases of riots and marches that threatened public well-being,

Mr. Ahmad’s experience extends to a past role as a correctional officer with the New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. His focus was on inspecting inmate living quarters, performing random cell and public area searches, and reducing internal incidents. He effectively monitored inmates' daily activities in ways that addressed potential conflict and improper conduct. In his free time, he enjoys pickup games of basketball and playing NBA 2k and Call of Duty.
